This course was developed to assist Clinical nurse leaders in the Long-term Care, such as the DON, ADON etc., to take a more detailed strategic overview of proactive steps to prevent receiving a citation from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
As a bonus to the informative information, there will be weekly group Q:A sessions for clinical nurse leaders in long-term care to analyze regulations.
The session will be weekly for four weeks, from the week of Jan 16 -Feb 6 and a access to a private Facebook group.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR!

I am a Certified Director of Nursing in long-term care with over 15 years of experience as a DON and 22 years as a long-term care nurse. Overall I a have over 30 years of long-term care experience. My goal is to assist long-term care organizations and their Clinical nurse managers in long-term care to overcome the challenges in their professional role as Nurse leaders in long-term care. I have been working in Long term care for 30 years and have witnessed many changes in the industry. I want to give back and assist in the foundation of emerging nurse leaders in long-term care. Improving orientation, educational opportunity, and support for the next generation of Directors of Nursing and Clinical nurse managers in long term care. I also work with the Director of Nursing and nurse manager in a group or 1:1 coaching to improve their skills as nurse leaders.
